PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A young boy was rushed to the hospital after Philadelphia police say he was shot inside a barbershop.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Sunday on the 5000 block of Rising Sun Avenue in the city’s Olney section.

Police say a man opened fire inside the business following some type of argument.

The 4-year-old boy was shot once in the shoulder.

The boy was rushed to the hospital by his father who was also inside the barbershop.

Police say the boy was placed in stable condition.

There were several people inside the business at the time of the shooting but no one else was injured.

No arrests have been made.
